Welcome to the trial. From invitation to feedback.
Thank you for taking part. This page walks you through the whole thing — setting up takes about ten minutes, and after that the trial asks for a few minutes of your time each week.

Open your invitation
You'll have received an email inviting you to join the State Mode Trial. Tap the registration link inside — it opens the sign-up page in your browser.
Register your details
Fill in the Trial Registration form: your name, email address, home address, date of birth, and a password of your choosing. Tap Register for Trials at the bottom.
Use an email address you actually check — it's how we stay in touch for the whole trial.
Confirm your email address
A verification email arrives within a few minutes. Open it and tap the link — your account isn't active until you do.

Check your junk folder. This email hides there for some people. If you find it, mark it “not junk” and add trials@statemode.io to your safe senders — then nothing else will go missing.
Complete your onboarding
Log in and the app walks you through three short steps, one after another: the disclaimer, the NDA, and a short questionnaire about you. Each step moves to the next on its own — nothing to hunt for.
When all three are done, your dashboard reads “We will be in touch soon.” That's it — nothing more to do at this stage.

We review every application, and you'll get an email either way with the outcome.

Install the State Mode app
Download the State Mode Authenticator app using the link we send you, and log in with the same email and password you registered with.
Allow notifications when the app asks. That's how we let you know when your weekly feedback is ready — without it, it's easy to miss.

Each week there's a short questionnaire about your experience. Your phone will nudge you when it's ready (an email arrives too). Open the app, answer the questions, done — a few minutes at most.

Forgotten your password?
On the login screen, tap “Forgot your password?” and enter your email address. A reset link will arrive — check junk if it hasn't within a few minutes. Still stuck? Get in touch and we'll reset it for you.
An email hasn't arrived?
- Look in your junk or spam folder first — that's where they usually hide.
- Add trials@statemode.io to your contacts or safe senders.
- Still nothing? Email us and we'll sort it.
